"Photos from My South Indian Presentation"
Atithi Devo Bhava

My journey began in 2017 when I designed my South Indian website, with the blessings of my parents, Amma and Nanna. Since then, it has been an incredible achievement, and I take great pride in the creation of my unique Colour of India website. It has been a dream come true.
I started by showcasing a PowerPoint presentation with 20 slides that explore the wonders of South India, a project inspired and motivated by my website. Over the years, I have led 20 exciting presentations in various schools, including Perton Library and within my local community. Recently, I was invited to present a special project on my proud Hindu beliefs at Codsall Middle School. These presentations have received a warm and enthusiastic response from students.
I was also invited by the Beacon Centre to deliver three presentations, one of which was filmed by a channel called Kanshi on Sky TV, where I spoke about the Hindu festival of Diwali (Deepawali). This was an amazing experience in my life.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to showcase a three-course cooking demo at Codsall High School and the well-known Kingswood Trust. The demo was a huge success, with wonderful feedback from both the school and trust members. Most recently, I presented the Hindu Diwali festival at Thomas Telford School, receiving fantastic feedback from staff and students. It was a truly successful presentation, and I felt the blessings of my beloved Amma from heaven.
I am thrilled to share that in 2024, I was invited to lead an eight-week cooking project called Amma's Kitchen at Thomas Telford School. This includes the first-ever South Indian MasterChef competition for students, where I’ll present awards in my name. This year also marks the release of my first article, OM SHANTI, which was published on May 16th at The Institute of Tettenhall.
My next project will be at Madeley Academy in Telford, where I will work with sixth-form students for three weeks. In 2025, I will embark on a new project with pattingham village hall.
I am incredibly proud of my South Indian heritage, and I’m delighted to share my vibrant Hindu culture, colourful festivals, South Indian traditions, and my Telugu language touch. A new addition to my work is showcasing South Indian authentic cooking demonstrations, delivering yoga and mantra-inspired talks, and sharing my journey through the article Om Shanti with audiences. I’ve even amazed staff with my interactive display of South Indian cultural items.
Below are some amazing photographs that highlight how I’ve educated the local community about the allure and divinity of South India.
